I had some great idea for this pose. I would be stretching out on the couch and zap towards the camera. Elegant and casual, that was the way that I imagined it.
I put the camera in position , lay down on the couch, and wham, the first photo was taken. My enthusiasm immediately dropped below zero. Perhaps casual but certainly not elegant. In that curled position I looked like The Michelin man. I had to find another pose!
It has ultimately taken a lot of effort to end up with a pose that was satisfactory enough. And please, I mean no more than “satisfactory”. I could live with it, with the picture. But I was not excited about it. Then the days afterwards I suffered a serious dip. I even thought about stopping the project. But then again, that would be an easy way out. Meanwhile I have made some additional photos. Elegant poses, however, will have to wait.
